Downtown Raleigh

Downtown Raleigh is home to the North Carolina State Capitol as well as award-winning restaurants, museums, stylish bars, and several startup incubators and co-working spaces. Home to Red Hat HQ, Pendo, Truist and Bank of America, Raleigh has transformed from a government centered capitol to more of a mix with a blend of tech & finance. Investments in renovations of Moore Square, Dorothea Dix Park, and Fayetteville Street as well as a free bus system have created a lively and diverse environment. The downtown area is divided into Six Districts: Capitol District, Moore Square District, Glenwood South District, Warehouse District, Seaboard and Person St district, and Fayetteville Street District.
